ERICA'S EXPERIENCE:
Erica has provided specialized care for adults navigating eating disorders and related mental health challenges. While in these roles, Erica has presented at several conferences on the treatment of eating disorders and trauma. She has provided trainings for clinicians on body image and embodiment and wrote curriculum for these topics to be used by clients. Erica also provides supervision and consultation for other clinicians treating eating disorders and is on the Certification Committee at the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals Foundation.
In her private practice, Erica specializes in the treatment of eating disorders—including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and other specified or unspecified eating disorders. She also supports clients managing anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, body image concerns, and self-worth struggles.
Erica is LGBTQIA+ and kink aware, affirming, and a proud member of these communities. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and her training in Dance/Movement Therapy.
She practices from a weight-neutral, Health at Every Size® (HAES)–aligned perspective and believes in centering therapy on each individual’s goals, values, and body autonomy.
ERICA'S APPROACH
Erica’s approach to eating disorder treatment begins with the understanding that recovery is not one-size-fits-all. There is no single definition of recovery—each person's path is unique and deserves to be honored as such. Drawing from her own lived experience with eating disorder recovery, Erica brings compassion, validation, and deep understanding to each session, while also offering honesty and a touch of irreverence when it’s needed most.
She recognizes that reaching out for support can feel complex—even contradictory. You might know you want help and still struggle to imagine life without the eating disorder. Erica meets clients exactly where they are, offering a space rooted in autonomy, curiosity, and growth.
Erica works primarily with older adolescents, young adults, adults, and fellow clinicians—including therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists, nurses, physicians, and graduate students. She understands the unique challenges of balancing mental health alongside school, career, caregiving, or all three. Her practice offers a space to pause, take a breath, and engage in the healing process—at your own pace and on your own terms.
