ANXIETY DISORDERS AND OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER (OCD)

OCD is an anxiety disorder in which a person experiences recurring, unwanted thoughts (obsessions) and engages in repetitive behaviors (compulsions) in an attempt to manage the distressing thoughts and relieve anxiety.

64% of individuals with an eating disorder also have at least one anxiety disorder, and 41% of these individuals have OCD

We utilize Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat OCD.
