RACHAEL'S EXPERIENCE:
Rachael began her experience in the eating disorder field at an outpatient private practice. As a former Division 1 XC/Track & Field athlete, she is particularly interested in working with athletes at all levels. She brings a deep understanding of the physical and emotional pressures that come with sport participation. Rachael's lived experience allows her to connect with clients in a meaningful way, particularly those struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, and the constant drive to perform. Rachael understands how sport, identity, and self worth can become intertwined, and she is passionate about helping athletes find balance, healing, and sustainability in their life.
RACHAEL'S APPROACH
Rachael is a compassionate and understanding eating disorder therapist. She believes in tailoring client sessions to what is best for them. Rachael's goal is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your values, your body, and your sense of self.
She approaches therapy through a Health at Every Size (HAES), Intuitive Eating, and non-diet lens. Her clinical work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family-Based Therapy (FBT), and is IFS-informed. She strives to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel understood and empowered.
