Maggie Peterson, LCSW
Maggie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Specializing in the treatment of Eating Disorders, Trauma, OCD, and Anxiety.

About Maggie:
Maggie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping people feel more comfortable in their own skin and find their way through life's challenges. She specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts. With over five years of experience working in Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) settings, Maggie has supported individuals through some of their most difficult moments and understands that everyone's path to healing looks different.
Maggie believes that therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out. She brings warmth, honesty, humor, and a little creativity into her sessions, and isn't afraid to be direct when it's helpful. For Maggie, building a genuine connection is one of the most important parts of therapy. She wants her clients to feel heard, understood, and comfortable enough to be themselves, even when things feel messy or overwhelming.
Her approach is collaborative and tailored to each person's needs, drawing from DBT, ACT, RO-DBT, Written Exposure Therapy, DBT Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. When working with eating disorders, she incorporates Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating principles, helping clients move toward a more peaceful and trusting relationship with food and their bodies.
More than anything, Maggie wants her clients to know they don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. She meets people where they are, helps them recognize strengths they may not see in themselves, and works alongside them to build a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and true to who they are.
