ABOUT TERESA:

Teresa has substantial experience working with adults and adolescents in eating disorder facilities, hospitals, and private practices. Teresa has worked with eating disorders since 2015 and obtained her advanced Certified Eating Disorder Dietitian certification (CEDRD) in 2021 from International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.

Teresa’s interest in nutrition stems from honoring how food connects us to ourselves and our community by creating comfort and roots to belonging. Her passion for this work is based on helping others heal their relationship with food and embrace the beauty in uniqueness and diversity. Teresa is devoted to dismantling diet culture and common nutrition myths, and is focused on creating a food-neutral and weight-inclusive environment. She teaches gentle nutrition, joy for food, and honoring culture. In her free time, Teresa spends time in her garden, creating art, and spending time with her loved ones.
